Candle Care
Because every Solace & Smoke candle is made by hand, a little care helps you enjoy a cleaner, safer, longer burn.
Follow these simple steps to get the most out of your vessel and your ritual.
-
1. Your First Burn Matters
- Allow the candle to melt all the way to the edges.
- This prevents tunnelling and sets the foundation for an even burn.
- Recommended first burn: 2–3 hours for a 140–200g candle.

2. Trim Your Wick Every Time
Our wooden wicks need to be trimmed to 3–5mm before each burn.
This ensures:- A steady flame
